Security in smartphones has been one of the major concerns till date. The fear and concern keeps on growing with the same especially the same has happened with Samsung Galaxy Devices. The security loopholes have made Samsung to look out for third party security provider and so as per one report, A Canadian company named Absolute Software has been assigned a project to develop a software which will allow tracking of stolen mobile devices in the Galaxy range of products for Samsung Electronics. 

As per the Absolute Chief Executive John Livingston, the deal would pave the way for future deals with employers that want to use the software to track and secure mobile devices and laptops. 

Absolute anti-theft and data protection technology will be embedded in the core software of Galaxy mobile devices. Users signing up for the services of Absolute software, can easily maintain connection with their device, regardless of user or location. Users can receive alerts, maintain compliance with corporate and government regulations and investigate security incidents as well as recover stolen devices.
